transpixel This is the newly acquired rescue air boat in position on Lake Hayward.  The air boat is staffed by trained police officiers and the Volunteer Ski Patrols from all around the country are a part of the medcial support team involved in this worold recognized sports event.     transpixel

transpixel These two Italian nordic skiers were the leaders most of the 33rd 51K American Birkebeiner 2006 and the first to enter onto Lake Hayward shortly before 10:30am with 3K remaining to the finish line in downtown Hayward.  2-25-06 transpixel
