Annual Release Walleye Tournament
Was held on May 12th, 13th, & 14th, 2006
The Treeland Walleye Challenge 2006 had 345 registered participants of which 45 were children of parents entered in the tournament. Walleyes caught, registered, and successfully released were the following; 178 walleyes on Friday, 209 walleyes on Saturday, and 100 walleyes on Sunday morning which totaled 487 released walleyes for the 2006 Challenge.
The Treeland Walleye Challenge 2006 made a $500 donation to Walleyes For
North West Wisconsin for continued walleye fishery management in our area of
the state
