Over the past three days we have raffled off two Thorne Bros. rods as well as held 50/50 raffles.
With those efforts we were able to donate $5,223.00 to the Fishing Hall of Fame playground project!!!!
Hayward Power Sports donated a Helix 8 GPS for today’s Daily Grand Door prize, and Hayward local Kevin Clifford had the lucky horseshoe won it! Thank you Power Sports for your support!

We had a great time during the brat and beer feed today!
The casting contest, sponsored by Chippewa River Custom Rod was held. In the children’s division, 11 year old Levi sunk all of his casts right in the marker! The adults division was won by our own, now ‘retired’ Boat Boy, Ethan Smith! Both winners took home a brand new Chippewa River Custom Rod!
As usual, the brat babes stole the show serving up a delicious lunch for all; with @Park Ridge Distributing providing everyone with FREE Busch Light and Samuel Adams Winter Lager!
Nearly 150 door prizes were given away to entrants, as well as one GRAND DAILY door prize, a Helix 7 GPS/Fish Locator sponsored by Jenk’s Bait and Tackle! We drew Mike Engstrom’s name to take home that grand prize!
We raffled off the second Thorne Bros. Pre-Built Custom Stealth Bass/Walleye rod and raised another $1635!!! 100% of those proceeds are being donated to the playground project at the @Fishing Hall of Fame!
But that’s not all…. There was also a 50/50 raffle at Pat’s Landing Resort last night, and they were able to raise an additional $385 for the project!
But there’s more! A 50/50 raffle was also held today at the Brat and Beer Food, and an additional $398 was raised for the @Fishing Hall of Fame!
Bringing our two-day total to $4133! We’ll be holding one last 50/50 raffle tomorrow during the awards ceremony, and we hope to sail past $5000!

We’ve officially kicked off the 39th Annual Treeland Challenge in style! Over 100 door prizes were given away tonight, we saw old friends and met new ones and had a great time!
In addition to the regular door prizes, one daily grand door prize was given away, an Elk River Rods & Outfitters with a Shimano Vanford 2500 Reel donated by our dear friends at @Hayward Home Center!
We raffled off one of two rods donated by Thorne Bros. (a 2024 Thorne Bros Pre-Built Custom Stealth Bass/Walleye rod!); with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the @National Freshwater Fishing Hall Of Fame. We were able to raise $1715.00! Let’s see what we can raise for the second rod being auctioned off tomorrow at the brat and beer feed!
